Clippers escapes Knicks



Jamaal Crawford and the Los Angeles Clippers visits Carmelo Anthony at the Madison Square Garden, New York last February 10, 2013 and spoils Carmelo Anthony's 42 points to claim a win over the home crowd New York. This had been the first time this season that this two teams would meet. The New York Knicks who ranked 2nd in the Eastern Conference had seen a big improvement this season after signing Jason Kidd and bringing back Amare Stoudemire who had injury while the Los Angeles Clippers who sits at the 3rd seed of the Western Conference had evolved to a much better team than they were last season. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin had seen a much better chemistry that brings the Clippers to victory. While in this game, their 6th man, Jamaal Crawford lead them in scoring having 27 points to lead all Clippers in scoring way off the bench while Chris Paul added 25 and Blake Griffin who had gained double-double in this game with 17 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. The Clippers rallied most of the quarter against this match despite Carmelo's shooting madness that had scored almost half of the total points of the Knicks while Raymond Felton added 20. The Clippers win in this game by 14 with 102-88; The Clippers improves to 36-17 while the New York Knicks drops to 32-17. Carmelo Anthony will be a starter for the Eastern Conference this All-Star game this coming February 17 at Houston and also Chris Paul and Blake Griffin will start for the Western Conference.
